For example, if you’re going for a neutral look, please stick with that on all five nails or put an odd dark color, like wine red on one nail. Your nails will look too busy otherwise.
If you’re going for a bright scheme, even one dark color can look like a raisin in a bowl of your colorful oatmeal.
If you’re going for a scheme of dark colors, the bright one will most likely look like a beam peaking out between a dark curtain.
You can also go for a design, such as a bright yellow sunflower shape on black. Again, the sky’s the limit if you just want to try different colors. There is some hype about the statements that the various nail polish colors make. For example, red means that you’re passionate and confident.
Yellow is a sign that you tend to be bohemian, warm and extroverted. Lavender tends to point to a calm feminine personality. Whatever you do, just be sure that your color schemes harmonious and well-blended. I doubt that you want your nails to look like a five-year-old did them with a bunch of different color coats piled on top of eachother.
It doesn’t look artistic at all and it looks like the colors are fighting for space. Also, if you happen to blend the wrong colors, you can easily end up with a vomit color.
