Blue and silver may be used as decorations for winter dances and winter balls for charity. In much the same way that gold is frequently paired with red, blue is paired with silver.
On your eyes, blue and silver are every bit as elegant and festive as they are for many of the special occasions they represent.
You will find that applying blue first leaves you with a very sparkly blue after you apply the silver over the top of the blue or layer the silver eyeshadow on the blue for a special effect.

The most dramatic pairing of blue and silver on your eyes of course is the dark silver option with a deep royal blue. It makes for a very dramatic statement at any party or gathering and really gets people to notice your eyes. There are some blue and silver eyeshadows that come prepackaged in a case.
These are nice to have in your makeup kit because it takes away the guesswork of what shade of silver to wear with what shade of blue.
