Getting your entire limb covered in tattoos is a bold move. This is not exactly something you can hide later in life, so you know that you are completely dedicated to your decision.

You not only tolerate the pain, but it can be somewhat pleasurable to you. This means you may have experienced considerable pain in your life. This could be child birth, an injury, or you may have had self-mutilation tendencies.
You also have a lot of patience. These tattoos take a lot of hours to complete. You need to be able to sit down for hours at a time. You also need to understand that it will probably take a number of different sessions.
You won’t be able to walk into a tattoo shop and walk out with a completed tattoo since it’s too large to do in one setting. You should give it multiple months. If you can wait that long, you will walk out with a great tattoo.
You also probably have a good job. These tattoos are rather expensive, so you must be relatively established in your career in order to cover the cost.
