Two that stand out to me are the new multi-colored mirrored glass look and the bubble look. Some people call them 3-D because it makes your nails look like mini-portals to another dimension.
If you’re in doubt, you can always go for a simple look, such as opal white or one light solid color and sparkles on every other nail. I love the cuticle sparkles as well because it gives off a Royal look.
You practically can’t go wrong with the cuticle sparkle look. However, if your solid color’s going to be white or red, I would definitely recommend gold sparkles. Silver sparkles tend to make white look dirty and not blend in with red.
If you’re into animal prints, you can go wild with that as well. However, I wouldn’t recommend putting the print on every nail. It’d make your nails look very busy and is hard on the eyes.
Instead, I’d recommend something like putting the prints on just one or two nails with a solid color and/or sparkles on the others.
If you’re into floral patterns, you can go just as wild with that. You can even do a rose French manicure. That sort of thing tends to be best with your nail’s solid color matching the flower color.
I prefer to put a floral design on a whole nail because I think it does a better job of showing the flowers.
