If you’re decorating your nails for Christmas, a touch of red often blends in well with the both colors.
The good news is that you don’t have to be limited to black and gold. You can also throw peach or any other bright neutral color into the mix as well. Black and gold is a particularly good one to do with acrylic polish. This is because acrylics actually harden more as they’re exposed to air.
Because they’re hard, they make the perfect canvas for applying the polish and/or design that you want. As a result, they tend to make your polish colors and nail designs last longer.
What can I say? There’s just something about the black and gold design that looks more natural on longer nails than on shorter ones. It’s also a good look on coffin nails. No, coffin nails are not made for dead bodies! They’re just named after the coffin’s angular shape. They have become very popular in recent years, too.
Kylie Jenner has been a big help in spreading the trend through her various Instagram photos of her coffin looks. They seem to be the best fit for patterns like black and gold because they’re long enough to make solid colors with accents look like good and harmonious designs.
Since black and gold are good colors for death symbols, you can’t go wrong with adding something Gothic like a black rose design or a scream mask.
