Rose gold is a feminine color, but also has a certain bit of sophistication.
Rose gold eye shadow can be applied alone or used to highlight the eye. For a smokey eye look, use charcoal colored shadow or smokey brown hues near the lash line.
Then use the rose gold shadow to cover the upper part of the lid. To achieve the proper smokey eye look, you will have make sure that the color of your shadows lighten as it approach the brow. This is to mimic the look of smoke which dissipates as it floats into the air.
To keep your look light and flirty, choose a rose gold eye liner. You can apply the liner either at your lash line or your waterline. Or if you don’t want to totally abandon your dark brown or black liner, use your standard liner on either your lash line or water line and highlight the other with the lighter shade of rose gold.
Dusting your cheeks with a rose gold powdered blush will give your face a healthy glow. You can also use a cream or gel blush, depending on your skin type, to achieve the same look. Pink, is often used as a blush color, to give you a nice rosy cheek. But using rose gold instead is likely to give you an even more natural blush. Rose gold is a considered a neutral color, so it is likely to look even more natural with most skin tones.
The lips are another area that you can experiment with color. Rose gold lips look great with both a matte and glossy finish. Use a lip liner in a similar shade for best results.
