Top 100 Best Eeyore Tattoos For Women – Winnie The Pooh Design Ideas

If you like to make your significant other happy, treating them to a tattoo of Pooh Bear is a surefire way to go.

Eeyore is the cute little donkey featured on the cover of Winnie-the-Pooh, and has become an iconic part of the series. This makes a great gift idea for any female fan with an affinity for Winnie-the-Pooh.

This tattoo is just perfect for women who are looking for something that can add beauty and femininity in their body. The tattoo mirrors the image of Eeyore, one of Pooh’s friends, who is a donkey. He’s gloomy and yet oh so, lovable!

This tattoo is designed for women who love looking at their body and feeling good. It’s also great for those who like to feel young, as this tattoo characterizes youthfulness and innocence. The tattoo is simple yet elegant and can be inked on any part of the body. It makes women feel relaxed and beautiful, ready to face the world with a smile on their lips.

Its beautiful design captures the fun and mischievous personality of the adorable Eeyore. The grey tattoo is placed on his fluffy leg and includes his signature gloomy expression. It’s a great idea to get this design inked if you love the character Eeyore from Winnie-the-Pooh, or anyone who identifies with him.

This will also be an excellent choice if you want something simple but still remarkably graceful, without going overboard with details. You can add color to it later on if you choose to, or leave it as it is.

Different moments to consider for inspiration:

Eeyore, the beloved grey donkey from A.A Milne’s classic Winnie The Pooh books, is one of the most charmingly melancholic characters in literature. His pessimistic outlook on life and his deadpan delivery of wry one-liners has made him a fan favorite for generations. Here are some of my favorite cute little donkey moments ever from Winnie The Pooh!

1. When He Loses His Tail – In what may be Eeyore’s most famous moment from the original books, he suffers an unfortunate accident when Tigger bounces too hard and knocks off his tail. With typical Eeyore-style pessimism, he remarks that “It isn’t much good having anything exciting like this happen to me…the loss of one’s tail isn’t really very cheerful…I suppose it is almost time I was thinking about going home.” Fortunately, Christopher Robin helps out by finding a suitable replacement for Eeyore’s lost tail.

2. When He Gets a House – In another memorable moment from the original books, Christopher Robin builds a house for Eeyore out of sticks and thistles. It isn’t quite what he had in mind (Eeyore wanted something more substantial), but he soon grows fond of it anyway: “It isn’t bad at all… Not bad at all… I think I’ll keep it.” From then on, it becomes known as “Eeyore’s Gloomy Place”.

3. When He Meets Tigger – One of the highlights from Disney’s 1968 animated feature film adaptation is when Tigger meets up with Eeyore in order to cheer him up after losing his tail again (this time due to Pooh playing pin-the-tail). Though initially unimpressed with Tigger’s boisterousness, Eeyore eventually warms up to him when they play together in a snowbank: “Tigger? Well now! That was real nice … Real nice indeed!”

4. When Eeyore Tries To Give Pooh a Balloon – In the 1977 special The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, Eeyore attempts to cheer up his friend by giving him a balloon. But when Pooh accidentally lets it go, Eeyore is despondent: “Oh bother – There goes my balloon… Oh, well. I suppose it’s just too windy today…”

5. When He Gets a New Tail – In Disney’s 2011 feature film Winnie The Pooh, Christopher Robin surprises Eeyore with a new tail made of felt and ribbon which he dubs “the Thinking Tail”. With his usual dry wit and self-deprecation, Eeyore remarks “Ah yes… Not much good for sitting on thistles though…but that was never my strong point.”

6. When He Has Tea with Piglet – Another classic moment from the original books occurs when Piglet invites Eeyore to have tea with him in order to cheer him up after losing his tail again (for the third time). Though initially skeptical about having tea (“What happens if I drop it? What do I do then? Move along quickly?”), he soon enjoys himself and even helps out by bringing extra cups for the guests who show up unannounced.

7. When Eeyore Talks About His Birthday – One of the most memorable scenes from Disney’s 2011 film is when Christopher Robin throws a surprise birthday party for Eeyore. While all of his friends are excited about the festivities, Eeyore remains as morose as ever: “I don’t think this day can get any worse,” he says woefully before being overwhelmed by emotion upon realizing that everyone remembered his birthday after all.

8. When He Does Yoga – In one of Disney’s more recent shorts A Day For Eeyore (2016), we see an unlikely sight: Eeyore doing yoga! After being cheered up by Owl and Tigger in their own unique ways, they convince him to try out some yoga poses in order to relax and clear his mind: “Feels quite nice actually… Yes indeed.”

Adorable Eeyore Tattoo Designs For Women

This tattoo’s texture looks exactly like it was embroidered, which is such a fun idea, since Eeyore’s character is a stuffed donkey! The design seems to sit on top of the skin, just like a thick embroidered patch of thread would sit on a person. I am amazed that the artist was even able to make it look shiny!

Adorable Tattoo Inspiration For Women

The gloom is real in this tattoo. The expression on Eeyore’s face is unmistakably morose, and the flowers seem to be just as droopy as he is. Even with bright colors, the glum nature of the character is portrayed well here.

Alluring Ladies Eeyore Tattoo Ideas

Childhood memories are brought back when I look at this tattoo. The character’s likeness is so well captured here. White highlights used around his hair really make it pop. Cursive font of the famous quote, “Oh Bother” and buzzing little bees finish it off so perfectly

Amazing Eeyore Tattoo Ideas For Women

Four Winnie the Pooh characters seemingly peek out of the skin, on this perfect placement on the wrist. Small but so detailed and fun. Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger are all there and look just like the characters in the series.

Appealing Womens Eeyore Tattoos

The little red balloon carrying Eeyore through the sky is so cute. It’s an iconic image, and the artist made his own interpretation of it that makes it dreamy and light. Pastel purples and blues look great against the red.

Art Eeyore Tattoo Designs For Girls

A creative an edgier take on Eeyore, the little blue donkey looks quite pleased with his own traditionally designed tattoos. The bright pink and orange heart he is laying in, really makes the dusty blue hue pop!

Artistic Eeyore Tattoo On Woman

Seemingly three dimensional, this perfect replica of the Eeyore character being carried away, is so fun and innocent. Instantly recognizable, the character’s stitches and expression are done so well. The balloon also appears impressively shiny, considering that it’s on matte skin.

Astonishing Eeyore Tattoo For Girls

Keeping with the childhood vibes of cartoon characters, the combination of Eeyore with a carousel horse is so fun and creative. I love how well the stitching is accomplished on the character, and it’s a unique take on a very popular character.

Attractive Girls Tattoo Eeyore

A Gothic approach to a childhood favorite, the addition of large wings, and soulless eyes, make this image spooky. The pink bow is really the only friendly looking part of Eeyore that remains. If someone wanted a unique and creepy Eeyore, this would be it!

Awesome Eeyore Tattoos For Women

The quote on this tattoo is so inspiring. Eeyore, while gloomy, is also positive overall, and so I think this quote fits well with the character. The simple black outline makes this tattoo much more minimal than a full color depiction.

Beauteous Girls Eeyore Tattoos

Mandalas are not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Winnie, The Pooh, but here it works well. The clear lines and shading follow the curves of the character and make a unique and still recognizable design.

Beautiful Eeyore Tattoo Design Ideas For Women

How cute is this one? The baby Eeyore is so unique and yet, still recognizable as the character. I love the more pastel palette, and the perfect little round cheeks blushing. I would love to see the other Pooh characters as babies too!

Breathtaking Eeyore Tattoo On Girl

The sketchbook style of this mostly black outline is different and fun. Pastel pink pops against the black. There is a lot of movement in the piece. The position he is in, is also fun and different.

Chmushrooming Tattoos For Women Eeyore

Watercolor tattoo fans will love this design. The characters of Tigger and Eeyore are so clearly and identifiably drawn, and the splashy watercolor is such a creative touch. The palette works perfectly, and I love the expressions on the character’s faces!

Colorful Womens Eeyore Tattoo Design Ideas

Quoting Eeyore from the series, “Oh Bother” is such a fun and simple text to pair with buzzing bees and the beloved character. The bright yellow bees pop around the vivid blue and grey colors of Eeyore. A pastel pink bow is tied perfectly around his sweet ribbon tail.

Cool Eeyore Tattoos For Women

A well shaded black and gray tattoo, this design features bunches of balloons bringing Eeyore up to the sky. The simple design is so detailed and fun, while remaining understated and less loud that it would, if it was colored. It makes the youthful design, a little more grown up.

Coolest Females Eeyore Tattoo

Rain clouds block out the sun and fall right on poor Eeyore in this image. The way he looks back as he sits in his puddle is so prefect for the character. Water drops coming off the character are so realistic, and the cartoon sun is adorable.

Coolest Womens Eeyore Tattoos

Paper airplanes and snuggly bears make this childhood character’s design even more playful and fun. I could imagine my kids being very fond of this tattoo. Perhaps it was done to honor their child or perhaps a favorite childhood memory, friend, or family member.

Cool Female Eeyore Tattoo Designs

A goofy and silly looking depiction of Eeyore creates a lot of movement due to the way it is drawn. He looks almost dizzy, and his splashy, watercolor coloring makes it look unique. I really like the silliness in this piece.

Creative Eeyore Tattoo Designs For Women

Eeyore’s presence is so well captured here, in this image of him reaching for a delicate butterfly above. There is a lot of detail, and the shading is created using tiny black dots, in this black and white tattoo. I love the tiny little flowers that are popping up in the foreground.

Cute Eeyore Tattoo Designs For Women

This Eyeless Eeyore has a bit of a more artsy feel, while still be recognizable, the expressionless stuffy, seems a bit more adult. The tiny hearts and fine details found in the leaves in the background really make the simple outline pop.

Decorative Eeyore Tattoo On Female

Using the iconic Disney font for the text in this tattoo was a cool and creative choice. The hopeful looking Eeyore paired with the quote used, really cracks me up. It just shows that even a childhood character can show what adulthood really feels like.

Decorative Looks For Womens Eeyore Tattoo

Purple watercolor delicately splashes on this neat outline of Eeyore and a heart shaped balloon. The glitter and hearts in the background add interest. I love that the purple color is used in places other than the character itself. It really makes it pop.

Delightful Tattoo For Women Eeyore Designs

Flames and Eeyore are an interesting combination for sure. The text translating to what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, fits the character well, and the fire in the background alludes to a bit of a darker meaning for the person wearing the tattoo.

Distinctive Female Eeyore Tattoo Designs

Placing the character and his tail in separate locations makes a fun design here. The body of the character on the abdomen and the tail on the forearm, turns a classic image of a childhood favorite into a bit of a game of pin the tail on the donkey.

Eeyore Female Tattoo Designs

Pink pops so well against this black and white portrayal of Eeyore on the inner arm. Shading is used well to create depth and shadows without the use of a lot of color. The position that Eeyore is sitting in, is perfect for the character.

Eeyore Girls Tattoo Ideas

Eeyore looks positively exhausted in the presence of Tigger in the center of this piece. Pooh is also present here and looks giddy as normal. All three characters as well captured and the detail in the background helps them pop. I love the fluffiness created by the shading in the clouds.

Eeyoreic Womens Eeyore Tattoo Designs

A sweet depiction of Eeyore snuggling a teddy bear, with a clean heart shaped background is a great way to feature the character. The sunset hues in the background help the blues in Eeyore pop. The glitter effect in the background is a nice finishing touch.

Eeyore Tattoo Design Inspiration For Women

Splashy and fun, the famous image of Eeyore floating in the air attached to a red balloon is done in a creative way. I love how while being watercolor, the tattoo still has depth due to the use of gradation in color. Especially with the gray/blue hue on his body.

Eeyore Tattoo Feminine Designs

The character, Sadness, from inside out and Eeyore make an unexpected but perfect pair. With a bright pink background, the blue colors of the characters pop. I love the swirly rain cloud that’s above them, and how well their expressions are captured here.

Eeyore Tattoo For Ladies

Black and grey tattooing is used to expertly create this image of Eeyore. The placement on the inner arm is delicate and feminine, and if tattoos being seen is an issue at your place of work, this would be easily covered. Not that you would want to cover this cutie!

Eeyore Tattoos Feminine Ideas

This tattoo reminds me of a sketch, and it’s a unique way to place a very popular character on your body! Maybe this person is an artist and wanted to have a sketch like design. This would be great for someone that loves to draw, or someone who wants a more artsy feel.

Eeyore Tattoos For Girls

Best friends, Pooh and Eeyore are in a warm embrace in this sweet tattoo. The bubbly background adds more interest to the tattoo and adds to the warmth you feel when looking at the image. This would be a great tattoo to get with a bestie!

Eeyore Womens Feminine Eeyore Tattoos

Bold black lines create the familiar faces of Tigger and Eeyore. Dark splatters in the background add even more boldness to this large pooh themed sleeve. This tattoo would be great for someone that wants to make a statement while incorporating a childhood favorite.

Eeyore Womens Tattoo Designs

Bunches of colorful balloons lift the trio of Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore up the forearm and onto the shoulder of the person wearing this tattoo. The placement, palette and watercolor style of this tattoo all work together to make this a dreamy and airy peace that’s perfect for the imagery in the clouds.

Pink and grey work so well together in this tattoo. Piglet and Eeyore are such a fun combo. The blue glitter technique that’s used in the background is such a fun touch and really helps the characters pop! This would be a cute tattoo to get with a sibling or childhood friend!

Eeyore Womens Tattoos

I love watercolor tattoos; they are so unique and fun. The style is perfect for cute imagery like the pair of Piglet and Eeyore. It really elevates the classic pair. Piglet’s little arms looks so cute hugging Eeyore’s large snout.

This tattoo is so bright and fun! The hot pink background allows the pastel blue and purple to pop! Even the bear Eeyore is snuggling, in this tattoo has such a unique and readable expression. This has a very innocent quality that is perfectly suited for this character.

Excellent Girls Eeyore Tattoo Design Ideas

The double outlines in different boldness are a unique design element here. It adds a hand drawn appearance that sets it apart. The vivid color palette is very saturated even though it’s a watercolor styled piece. Eeyore tattoo meanings and symbolism:

What do Eeyore themed designs mean and symbolize?:

Eeyore, the beloved gray donkey from A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh stories, has become an iconic symbol of sadness and gloom in popular culture. But beneath his often dour exterior lies a character who is far more complex than he may appear at first glance. Eeyore embodies a variety of themes and ideas that have resonated with readers for generations, from feelings of alienation and loneliness, to the challenges of accepting change, and embracing one’s individuality.

On the surface, Eeyore tattoo designs appear to consist of a sad, depressed donkey — It doesn’t help that Eeyore talks in a slow monotone voice, sighs frequently, and rarely seems interested in anything going on around him. However, there’s far more to this cute character than what’s presented at first glance. His home is a ramshackle stick house built on the edge of the Hundred Acre Wood, complete with its own “gloomy atmosphere”; he is often seen shuffling along aimlessly through his surroundings or simply sitting alone in his hovel. He also tends to view life through a pessimistic lens — when asked how he was doing by Christopher Robin early on in their friendship, Eeyore replied: “Not very cheered up… Mustn’t grumble… That’s what I say: Mustn’t grumble.”

But beneath this seemingly depressing veneer lays something much deeper than meets the eye. For all his negativity about life, Eeyore’s experiences have taught him valuable lessons about resilience and acceptance that we can all learn from. This is especially true when it comes to embracing our own unique qualities instead of trying to fit into someone else’s mold. In one scene from Winnie-the-Pooh & Friends Too!, Eeyore admits that “it’s not so bad being different,” since “being different sometimes means you get special attention.” He also encourages Pooh Bear to embrace his quirks instead of worrying about what others think: “You don’t have to be like everyone else! You just need to be like yourself!”

Although Eeyore can seem resigned or indifferent at times due to past disappointments or difficulties, adapting to new situations (such as Piglet moving away) offer glimmers of hope. There are so many notable moments such as when Owl gives him an umbrella for Christmas (and calls it “just right for those April showers!”). It shows us that even someone as downcast as Eeyore can still find joy in small things if they take the time look closely enough. Honestly, this speaks volumes about how important it is for us all not lose sight of hope amidst our struggles with change or adversity.

Eeyore is more than simply a melancholy character who feels sorry for himself most of the time, upon closer inspection we see that there is much more hidden underneath his dejected demeanor. Eeyore symbolizes the importance to not only embrace our own individual qualities, but also appreciate even small joys during difficult times.

For a deeper discussion, here are some of my favorite meaningful life lessons from Eeyore:

1. Live in the Present: Eeyore is an eternal optimist, and doesn’t worry too much about the future or dwell on the past. He encourages us to stay focused on what’s happening now and make the most of it.

2. Be Kind to Everyone: Despite his gloomy outlook, Eeyore is always kind and gentle with his friends. He reminds us that we should treat all people with respect, no matter their differences or opinions.

3. Appreciate Life’s Simple Pleasures: Eeyore loves nothing more than a good game of Pooh sticks in a creek, a sunny day lounging in the grass, or just sitting quietly by himself under a tree. He shows us that sometimes life’s simplest pleasures can be some of its greatest rewards if we choose to enjoy them fully.

4. Don’t Take Yourself Too Seriously: Even though he can be down at times, Eeyore is always ready with a joke or some lighthearted banter when his friends need cheering up – making him an excellent reminder for not taking ourselves too seriously all the time.

5. Look for Positive Solutions: Despite being pessimistic, Eeyore also has an optimistic side which often leads him to solve problems by thinking outside of the box and looking for solutions that are positive rather than negative ones – something we could all benefit from learning!

6. Don’t Give Up On Your Dreams: When Christopher Robin gives him a balloon as part of their adventures together, Eeyore never stops believing in it even when it flies away; reminding us that you should never give up on your dreams no matter how far away they may seem.

7. Smile Through Adversity: No matter what he goes through (like losing his tail!), Eeyore maintains an upbeat attitude and finds ways to laugh through adversity instead of letting it bring him down. This just goes to shows that no matter how tough things get, smiling through them will help us stay strong.

8. Enjoy Your Own Company Sometimes: Most often seen alone reading books under trees or enjoying nature walks by himself. Eeyore reminds us that sometimes spending time alone can be just as valuable as spending time with others. Go ahead, relax and recharge without feeling pressure from outside sources.

9. Celebrate Small Victories : Every once in awhile Eeyore will accomplish something small (such as finding his tail again), but instead of getting discouraged he celebrates each success. Big or small, it doesn’t matter! Eeyore shows us all how important it is not to forget about our victories however insignificant they may seem at times!

10. Follow Your Heart : At different points throughout Eeyore’s stories, the cute donkey follows his heart. Whether he’s going against Christopher Robin’s advice by helping Pooh find honey, or standing beside Piglet during hard times. Eeyore is such a meaningful tattoo design that quite simply translate to: Doing what feels right inside our hearts, ultimately lead us closer towards true happiness .
